Our Business Çeven Travel
Ahmet, Mehmet and Kemal Çeven. We are three brothers and dedicated mountain guides. Our family comes from a traditional Kurdish family living since time immemorial at the base of Ararat in Topçatan köyü (the village with the Minarett, behind which you can see Ararat). The old Kurdish name of the village is Kanikork.
Many people claim that Ararat has magnetic forces. They have affected my family for sure, because we have committed our life to the mountain. For many generations we have been everywhere at Ararat "" everywhere. Mount Ararat is our life.
Today our Kurdish extended family lives in the outskirts of the city Do?ubayaz?t at the base of Ararat. During the summer many family members move to the high plateaus of Ararat and live there as Nomads.
